Conapto operates two data centers and one recovery site in the Stockholm area.

The Company, previously part of Sungard Availability Services, can trace its heritage back to 1982 when the first data center was set up and operated under the name Backupcentralen. Since then, the business has developed from primarily offering disaster recovery services to focusing on premium colocation services and offering related solutions such as connectivity and cloud access.

Segulah V invested in Conapto in September 2018. The ambition with the investment is to, together with an experienced team and competent board, launch a new colocation operator with an offering adapted for the Swedish market and thereby accelerate the company’s growth.
